Sphier Travels has access to seat inventory across 100+ airlines. Our agents can check availability for a wide range of cabin upgrade options — from extra legroom in economy all the way to fully lie-flat business class on long-haul routes.

How Upgrade Pricing Works

Upgrade costs vary based on the airline, route, specific flight, cabin class, and real-time seat availability. Our agents access live inventory and will provide you with the exact upgrade cost — including any applicable Sphier Travels service fee — before processing your request. No payment is charged without your explicit verbal authorization.

It's worth noting that upgrade availability is determined entirely by the airline. While we cannot guarantee a specific upgrade will be offered, our agents will explore all options and, where applicable, discuss waitlist placement on heavily booked flights.

Upgrading an Existing Sphier Booking

If you already have a booking through Sphier Travels, call us with your confirmation number. Your agent will immediately check upgrade availability on your flight and walk you through all available options. If you have a booking reference from an airline direct booking, share that too — we'll do what we can to assist.

Booking Premium Class From the Start

Rather than upgrading after booking, many of our customers choose to search and price business or first class cabins at the time of initial booking. This approach often gives you a clearer picture of the value difference and — on certain routes — can represent a strong value compared to economy prices. Ask your agent to run a premium cabin search when you call.
